First, here are the basic fundamentals.

A 1:4 mortar mix is used in just about every country, prefecture, city, and town.

Cement: Sand The mix ratio is

420 kg: 1,680 kg

Right?

We know that there are 420 kg of cement per cubic meter.

The total length of the construction is

The number of vertical panels is (horizontal span + 1) × vertical span = (6 + 1) × 9 = 63 panels × 1.7 m = 107.1 m

The number of horizontal panels is (vertical span + 1) × horizontal span = (9 + 1) × 6 = 60 panels × 1.7 m = 102.0 m

Number of intersections: 7 across × 10 down = 70 intersections × 0.3 m = 21.0 m

Total = 107.1 + 102.0 + 21.0 = 230.1 m

That's how it works.

I've added the intersection part at the end, but it doesn't really matter which order you do it in.

That's because cement orders can be changed even while construction is underway.

 

230.1 m × 0.3 m × 0.3 m = 20.7 m³
(Frame Length × Frame Width × Frame Height = Mortar Volume)

20.7 m³ × 420 kg = 8,694 kg

8,694 kg ÷ 25 kg per bag = 348 bags

That's how it works.

Although it doesn't include losses, it's important to get a rough idea of the numbers right from the start.

    I always enjoy reading your blog!
    Regarding the cement order, is this example for a 300×300 frame?
    Cross-sectional dimensions of 300 × 300, with an area of 0.09 m²
    Multiplying by the volume gives 203.1 m × 0.09 m² = 18.3 m³
    18.3 m³ × 420 kg = 7,686 kg
    7,686 kg ÷ 25 kg per bag = 307 bags
    I think that's how it will turn out—what do you think?? ^^;
