I've been meaning to post the calculation method for determining the amount of material needed for window frames for a while now, but,
It's been sitting there untouched for quite a while...
I’ll just start writing a little bit at a time for now, while I figure out how best to present this.
In my case, since I've already set it up in Excel, I can calculate it roughly just by entering the area and length.
But since posting that would be a bit awkward, here's a workaround for now.

Ras Wire Mesh (#14 × 50 × 50): 140 m² per 100 m²
Main anchors (φ16 × 400 mm): 30 per 100 m²
Auxiliary anchors (φ9 × 200 mm): 150 per 100 m²
Calculations are based on the above.
For example, let's say the actual slope area is 600 m².
Let's assume there is some variation in elevation.
Mathematically, it can be calculated as a ratio, but
As a simple method,
Galvanized wire mesh: 600 m² × 1.4 m² = 840 m²
Main Anchor: 600 m² × 0.3 = 180
Auxiliary anchors: 600 m² × 1.5 anchors = 900 anchors
That's how it works.
I simply converted it to per square meter and multiplied it.
To account for some variation here, we'll apply a loss rate.
For example, if you want to calculate the amount of materials with a 20% increase, multiply by 1.2.
That will be the order quantity for the job site.
However, for boxed sales, if there are 30 main anchors per box, the order is for 6 boxes.
For 200 auxiliary anchors per box, 900 ÷ 200 = 4.5 boxes, which rounds up to 5 boxes.
Actually, it’s fine to make two trips, but if the site is small, you’ll end up wasting money on freight charges, so it’s better to deliver everything in one trip.
Let's try having Excel automatically calculate the above.
Enter "600" in cell A1.
In cell D3, enter "=$A$1*B3*C3"
(Even if you copy it down, the "Quantity" cell (A1) uses an absolute reference ($), so it won't move.)
Enter "=ROUNDUP(D3/E3,0)" in cell F3
(If you round up the decimal, there won't be any leftover fractions.)
If you enter it, it will be filled in automatically starting next time.
The loss is entered based on my own judgment.
