I'm going to take it to Nagano and paint it.
You'd probably think this hopper has a slightly different shape than usual, right?
This is a cement hopper for silos! (It can also be used for crushed stone.)
Normally, bagged cement is used for spray application, but on sites where the volume is large and the spray application would take several months, a silo is used.
That's why a hopper like this would be very convenient.
Furthermore, since this is a measure to prevent cement from scattering, it naturally requires a creative and ingenious proposal.
The top cover is designed to accommodate the silo's bellows pipe. (It is divided into two sections due to its weight.)
It is secured with wing screws to prevent the lid from lifting due to the wind pressure coming down from the silo.
A cover has been installed over the discharge opening to prevent the cement from scattering all over the concrete mixer even if it comes pouring out of the silo all at once.
The discharge cover is designed to open from both the left and right sides.
The legs are made with the same diameter as single-wall pipes and can be angled to fit the Belcon.
I drew up the plans while visualizing the actual site, so now all that's left is to try them out.
There will probably be a lot of corrections next time, but you never know until you try.
By the way, a steel plate about 20 cm in size is attached to the side of the hopper.
