I went to a rock bolt job site the other day.
The hardest part is definitely climbing the stairs!
One round leaves me exhausted, and two rounds leave me completely worn out. My weak legs and lower back are really getting to me.
It used to look like this, but now it comes in single-pack sizes!

Anyway, for now, let's start with the Barchip MK30...
To be honest, it looks like...That's huge!!That's kind of how it is, lol
I thought it might get clogged.
The recommended dosage for this product is the manufacturer's standard amount, which is3.64 kg/m³ to 4.55 kg/m³
Therefore, we conducted the experiment using the lowest density, 3.64 kg/m³.

It's huge, isn't it?? lol
It doesn't prick your hands, and it breaks up easily. Since the pieces are this big, they don't clump together either.
We were able to spray it just as we normally would. (The workers said it didn't bother them either.)
This is what the surface of the test piece looks like.
It looks a bit like a mechanical pencil lead, but if it disperses evenly inside, it seems like it could be quite effective.
However, while this seems suitable for concrete with a thick cross-section, how about it for thin-section sprayed mortar or sprayed concrete applications?
That's kind of how it feels, too.
