I Went to the 2024 Chubu Construction Technology Fair! (Part 3)

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I Went to the 2024 Chubu Construction Technology Fair! (Part 1)

I Went to the 2024 Chubu Construction Technology Fair! (Part 2)

You might think I'm just using the Construction Technology Fair as a blog topic again this year, but that's not the case...

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Response Headquarters Vehicle

This vehicle is the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s command center vehicle for use during disasters!!

It sticks out incredibly far on the side!!

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Response Headquarters Vehicle

That's amazing!

It's about 8 tsubo in size.

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) Response Headquarters Vehicle

It's really spacious inside.

If this were available to the general public, it seems like it could be designed to be even more functional than our last camper van...

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Lighting Truck

A dedicated lighting vehicle was also on display.

Crab Crane

This is the tip of the crab crane that will be newly introduced next spring.

I suppose bending it allows for various uses.

The weight within the working radius when turning was just a little bit, lol.

Since it's a crab, it must be hard for it to keep from falling over, huh?

DK Bond

That’s the traditional DK Bond method, isn’t it?

DK Bond Method

It seems they've been doing stone masonry reinforcement work lately as well.

We're not members of the association, so I can't really go into detail lol

I checked out a bunch of stuff this time too, but there wasn't anything particularly unusual lol

But is it that greening has evolved, or has the direction of our thinking shifted slightly?

So, this is what caught my eye lol

Kusama Mall

This is a mat designed to prevent damage caused by wildlife.

It's really simple—they just put a net over the grass to keep deer and other animals from eating it, lol.

It might be a bit of an oversimplification to say that's all there is to it, but it's straightforward and interesting.

Even if the grass is eaten, the roots remain, so it will grow back.

In a way, I feel like it might also serve as a feeding ground, but since the purpose is to prevent surface collapse, that’s fine, right?

Japanese Vegetation: Kusamamor

There was one other landscaping method that caught my attention, so I’ll save that for next time.

See you later.
