Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
I went there the other day.
The Annual Construction Technology Fair! in Chubu

I went on the first day.
Most of the recent technology fairs focus on ICT and digital transformation.
So, it's not really that different, lol.
However, I believe it’s important to constantly expose myself to new things, because if I don’t keep up with the latest developments, I’ll become outdated myself.
"VIBRES System": Anchor Tension Measurement Technology
It is a system called VIBRES, which NEXCO Research Institute is developing in collaboration with Gifu University.

Apparently, you attach it to the object, apply a vibration known as a "sweep vibration," read the data, and calculate the tensile force.
I’ve known this for quite some time, but this was the first time I was able to ask someone from NEXCO about it.

It's a very simple device—you just attach it to the head of the anchor.
However, while there is only one location for the SE apartment-style units,
In the case of PC steel strands, it seems they must be installed individually for each strand.

Since it's a simple design, it's easy to set up.

As of now, it appears that ground anchors under 20 meters are covered.

Towed Off-Grid Mobile Home
I thought, "Wow, this is amazing!"—and it's so stylish!
It has 40 mm of insulation, so I’ve heard the air conditioning works really well even in the summer.

You have to tow it to the job site, but it’s easier than transporting a large one, right? lol
Plus, it's electric, so it can go anywhere!!
Sure, you'll have to charge it and all, but this is super convenient!
There's a video, so please take a look.
I really hope the big companies keep pushing ahead with this kind of innovative development.
Now, as for the price...
No way!!!
12,000,000 yen!!
That's a bit too much... lol
I totally get that it's convenient, stylish, and easy to use.
But that's a bit too much, lol.
That pricing strategy wouldn't work for most companies.
I suppose there’s not much we can do about it since it was originally an imported product, but even so...
I have a feeling we could make something even cheaper and simpler.
That's all for now.
The Construction Technology Fair in Chubu is back next time!!
See you later.
