I don't know where you're working right now, but as long as you're doing well, that's all that matters. (No need to get in touch or anything. It's too much trouble, lol.)
All kinds of things happen at a company.
And all kinds of people come in with all kinds of ideas.
If it's inconvenient, I'll just leave.
Especially for a construction company like ours, it’s pretty common for people to just disappear out of the blue or steal company property and vanish, lol.
It happens all the time, even when you trust someone.
I’ve grown a lot recently, and I think I’m not as easily fooled as I used to be.
But some of our executives say I trust people too much, lol.
When hiring people, what I’ve come to value most is how they handle leaving a job.
How did you leave your previous company?
This is very important.
I always make sure to ask this during interviews.
People who run away will always run away again.
If it's about money, I'll quit for the money.
If I quit because I dislike someone, I'll end up disliking someone else and quitting again.
People who leave in a strange way—almost without exception—are very likely to repeat the same behavior.
Though some people just think he quit normally, lol.
In some cases, people may find that a company isn’t a good fit for them—perhaps it’s a “black company”—and even though they want to quit, they can’t, so they end up running away.
People like that are the exception. (That’s the right way to quit. If you feel the company is dangerous, it’s okay to leave!)
On the other hand, people who resign properly don’t lose anyone’s trust; in fact, their credibility actually increases as they leave.
There's no right or wrong way to quit. It depends on each person's individual circumstances.
What I want to convey here is that if you quit properly, you can always come back even if something happens.
I know someone who has already returned to their ex's home three times.
That person was really nice, and I hear they were completely honest when they resigned.
The president of that company is also on board, so it’s an amicable departure.
I did that twice, and now I'm back at that company lol
Even if you think, “I’ll never go back to a company like this again!” I believe that doing so will open up new opportunities for you.
And that’s what it means to be an adult. That’s what it means to be a working adult.
It’s not that you can’t submit your resignation electronically, but Japan hasn’t gotten that far yet.
After all, it’s best to convey this clearly both verbally and in writing.
That will help build your credibility.
You don't have to squander the trust that money can't buy just by quitting your job.
That’s why I think the way you quit is so important.
