For some reason, the entertainment world has been pretty buzzing lately, hasn't it?
It’s often the nicest people who pass away suddenly. (It’s truly sad.)
It’s not exactly “the one everyone hates is the one who gets ahead,” but it’s true that the more people dislike someone, the more that tends to be the case, isn’t it?
This is just my own impression, but it seems that people who are disliked are the ones who bring up words like “depression.” (I’ve actually experienced this myself, lol.)
They say things like, “I just get lost in my own thoughts…” …Isn’t it just that nobody wants to talk to them because they’re unpopular?
That's what I think, you know.
On the other hand, truly good people—even though those around them worry about them—disappear without telling anyone, not wanting to cause anyone any concern.
People who are disliked are really good at drawing attention to themselves. It’s like they’re constantly saying, “Look at me, and only me.”
Give it more praise—more and more.
Because their self-esteem is extremely low, they tend to put themselves before others. As long as they’re okay, they see others as a nuisance.
This is true for adults, too.
As they get older, they may become even more self-centered.
That’s why I unconsciously get anxious when I’m not talking to someone, so when I’m alone at night and have a drink or two, that’s why I get anxious and end up calling people, causing trouble for those around me.
Fundamentally, since complaining about work involves comparing oneself to others, it seems that many people end up thinking about things in the wrong way.
In our line of work, every job is different, isn't it?
So, there's really no way to compare them.
For example, a common scenario is,
Why did Person B drill only 40 meters when Person A drilled 50 meters in a day?
I drilled 60 meters in a single day, but those guys only drilled 40 meters!
and so on.
The most ridiculous comparison in this industry lol
I can't help but think, "Are people who bring this up just idiots?" lol
In this industry, it’s extremely rare to carry out construction work under the exact same conditions.
Different machines mean different manufacturers. The equipment used and the mountains themselves are different, too. Naturally, the soil composition is different as well.
A bar chart is, after all, just an indicator used to estimate costs.
There's just no way to compare them.
There’s no way someone with 10 years of experience would lose to someone with only 2 years. But that doesn’t mean there’s a huge difference between them.
The difference between someone who uses 300 bags of cement a day and someone who uses 320 bags is 20 bags.
It doesn't matter at all from a construction management perspective.
As long as we can finish the project safely and on schedule, there won't be any problems.
Needless to say, the sooner, the better.

If you're wondering why you're slower than others, just ask them.
The important thing is not to compare yourself to other companies, other people, or other laws.
Carefully assess your worksite and carry out the work accurately and thoroughly.
If you're concerned about profits, you can figure it out just by checking the daily attendance records, fuel costs, and contract amounts, right?
For now, let's just focus on ourselves! (Although this varies depending on your situation.)
And if you find you have even a little bit of spare time beyond taking care of yourself, take a look around you.
If you can learn to focus a little on others as well as on yourself, your perspective on work will broaden even further.
The slope next to you is definitely not blue, so stay focused on your own slope and stay safe!
