Conditions Under Which It Is Best to Expedite Slope Stabilization Work | Bid Deadlines for Private-Sector Projects

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Lately, my private-sector work has been gradually picking up, and I just heard a funny story lol.

Apparently, they got a quote from a private contractor, but they were told that if they didn't act fast, the price would go up lol.

Do you understand what this means??

Quotation

I heard the quote is valid for about a month, and the price goes up by about 100,000 yen for every week it's delayed lol.

So, I was called to that site and given a quote—is that the case at your place, too?

I was totally surprised when someone asked me, “Is that common knowledge in the industry??” lol

That's completely out of the question, and as a sales pitch, it's way too over the top—so I'd say that company is a bit too much.

That was all he said.

Apparently, the cost of the construction method is going up because the conditions on the mountain are changing, lol.

That said, the quote is actually for vegetation restoration work, though.

What are the site conditions that would require our slope stabilization team to act quickly?

If we don't treat and address the slope soon, we'll be in trouble....right?

1. The slope is steep

2. Poor soil quality

3. Along a major road

4. Typhoon Season

5. Before the rainy season

6. Anchor work was installed on the surrounding slopes despite their gentle gradients.

7. Has water (severe spring water seepage)

8. Just dug up or cut out

9. It's already starting to crumble.

10. The left and right side slopes have been completed.

Is that about right?

Basically, anyway...It’s best to treat any slopes that can be treated before the rainy season begins. That's it.

There are various factors that cause landslides, but water is a key one.

As long as there's no water, it won't be as slippery.

With localized downpours occurring recently, we can’t say this applies only to the rainy season, but it’s important to be prepared for the rain.

Torrential Rain

If a contractor isn't selected for the bare ground within a short period of time, covering it with a blue tarp is an effective measure.

What Is Bare Land? (Rachi)

If possible, it would be even better if the sheet could be draped from a point further back than the shoulder.A slope covered with a blue tarp

In the case of private construction projects, people who aren't experts in slope work tend to hire slope contractors, but,

Next, I'd like to write about some tips for placing orders.

Tips for Choosing a Slope Construction CompanyThat's right.

It's Sunday, so I'm taking it easy, but I just can't seem to finish my work lol

So this is what being a workaholic is all about...

See you later.
