Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
I recently got into a bit of a spat with a sales rep from a materials supplier lol (though “spat” isn’t quite right—it was more like I just told him I wouldn’t be doing business with him anymore lol).

There are various reasons, but,
1. Always rubbing it in
2. Slow at work
3. They won't process my request unless I call to follow up on the email I sent.
4. If I don't call to confirm that I sent the fax, I won't get any response.
5. For the reasons mentioned above, we have adopted a strict policy of communicating via email, fax, and phone.
6. They’re quick to say they didn’t hear from you (even if you’ve already contacted them, they forget)
7. All they ever do is make excuses
8. They're playing dumb even though there's a record of this email being sent.
9. They go around telling everyone that they're close friends with so-and-so (but when asked, the person in question says they aren't actually close).
10. Boasting about your previous job at every opportunity
11. I know people at all of the workplaces mentioned above, so when I asked them, they said the reputation is just terrible.
12. Just because someone is older doesn't mean I can respect them at all.
13. A classic example of someone who’s been a failure since his youth
14. Former bid-rigger (Bid-riggers have a reputation for being incompetent. Are the only things they’re good at golf and brown-nosing?)
15. Say, “I’m working hard for your company” (Doing it for you is doing it for myself)
16. Gossiping or speaking ill of other companies. (Be careful—people like that might be saying the same things about you to other companies.)
That's the kind of person he was lol
I put up with a lot at first, but since I ended up having to halt work on site twice, I’m no longer willing to do this.
I make mistakes and cause trouble myself, so I can usually let most things slide, but this went way too far, so I had that person removed from their role as our point of contact.
It’s not that they can’t tolerate failure; rather, they lack the resolve to reflect on it and use that experience to improve, so they just brush it off with excuses—and to top it all off, they still bill you in full for the costs involved.
It's fine as long as you're paying for your own company's mistakes.
But I just don't get why we'd have to pay for another company's mistakes. It makes you wonder, "What kind of person would casually bring something like that up for advice?" right? lol

Well, I was so mad at the time that I told him, “Go ahead and charge me for everything, but please don’t ever call me again,” lol.
Well, that's just the kind of person he is, so he'll probably be fine.
Also, since he’s the type to blab, I think he’s been talking about entertainment matters with other companies.
If anyone said that, it's probably that person lol
But I just can't work with someone who says things like that, can I?
There's no progress at all, and I'm not learning anything.
It just tires me out.
Don't you know anyone like that?
I'm the type who keeps a safe distance from people like that, lol.
On the other hand, I could listen to a skilled salesperson talk forever—but since they’re so good at their job, they keep the conversation focused on business matters, with just a little bit of small talk thrown in. (And that small talk is often full of great stories and useful information.)
People who can't get things done spend most of their time badmouthing others (or other companies), gossiping, and talking about themselves—and only a little bit about work lol (which is probably why mistakes happen).
Let's be careful! lol
See you later.
