The stone masonry reinforcement work in a public area was completed the other day.
Since the final inspection hasn't been completed yet, I can't show a photo of the whole thing, but at first glance, it turned out something like this.

Since it originally looked like this, we were able to inject Moldam to fill about 80% of the space and integrate the entire structure.

Since many areas were quite deep, I pushed the injection hose all the way in and began building up the Moldam from the back.
The key is to build up from the back, making sure to fill the gaps between the stones with mortar.
This allows us to bond everything from the inside while finishing the surface.

The surface is rough after pouring, but it will be finished with a brush stroke.

Brushing the paint in this way will instantly improve the appearance of the finish.
Well, in terms of performance, there’s no need to use a brush, but it doesn’t look as nice if you don’t.
Normally, we would inject the mortar all the way to the top of the stone, but this time we stopped at about 80 percent.
The reason is that the stones are large and the area is quite deep, so if we continued pouring concrete as is, it would end up costing a considerable amount—so we stopped at about 80 percent.
Since it’s already been thoroughly injected from the inside, I don’t think you need to do all of it.
Also, since this is a river location, I think having some protrusions would help reduce the flow velocity, even if only slightly, when the water level rises.
In practice, based on experience, if you can inject the product thoroughly from the back, filling it about 80% of the way is usually fine; however, if you can’t inject it thoroughly from the back, it’s safer to make sure the surface is filled all the way to the top.
The key aspects of this construction method are continuity and integration, and I believe we were able to ensure both this time.
Although this construction method can truly be called disaster prevention work, most contracts tend to be issued with the intention of repairing the substructures of older bridges, lol.
Well, I guess there's nothing I can do about it, but I hope we can move forward little by little like this.
