It looks like the Paralympics are set to open on the 24th of this month.
Obon is over, so I imagine things are starting to get a little busy right now.
Business slows down a bit for us right before Obon, but things get really busy right after Obon.
It’s actually just right to be busy, though.
It seems like there are relatively more anchor installation projects this year.
Looking at the construction projects as a whole, slope stabilization work tends to be on the lower side.
I asked the supplier about various things, and they said that while they are busy, they aren't exactly swamped.
I wonder when this work load will even out, lol.
This means that instead of having all the work concentrated in the winter, we’ll be carrying out the winter projects as well during the spring and summer—how does this work at your company?
We haven't had much downtime and have been keeping pretty busy, but things are about to go into "hell mode" starting in early fall.
What’s more, since they’ve recently started taking on private-sector construction projects as well, it seems this trend is only going to accelerate—which is truly terrifying.
Some companies have already started their Obon holidays this week, so it looks like it’ll be a situation where people who can take time off will do so, and we won’t be able to place orders for machine parts or handle other business matters.
For those of you who are already on vacation, please take your time and enjoy yourselves.
I imagine there are some people who can’t take any time off at all due to project deadlines, and for whom the Obon holiday is limited to the weekend.
It's hot out, so please don't push yourself—just stay calm and carry on with your usual work.
