Improvement Jigs to Eliminate Human Error (Part 4): Adjustment Work

Let's just take it easy during Golden Week!

It’s kind of a given even without saying it out loud, though...

I tried out the adjustments I made the other day.

This is a casing hanger.

Casing Lifting Device Adjustment

I attached two 5-mm plates diagonally on the sides of the locking section.

The inner diameter of the circle is 180 mm plus 10 mm.

The minimum inner diameter is 170 mm.

The locking part also protrudes 5 mm.

Since the casing is 165 mm, the maximum clearance is 2.5 mm when the casing is centered.

I would guess that with just this much, this jig will fit in easily and make it easier to work.

I think we'll know the results sometime this morning.

If this works out, maybe I'll make a second finished version?

Is just this one really enough?? (Come to think of it, are we the only ones who use it?)

It's really just a small thing, but if we can create something tailored to the situation on-site,

If it doesn't exist, why not just make it?
