We're right in the middle of Golden Week, and my Golden Week has started, too.
Well, no matter where you go, it's crowded... and there's traffic... that kind of thing.
I'm getting my work done ahead of time so I can take it easy after Golden Week lol
But that's beside the point.
I believe I mentioned one of the anti-theft measures in my previous post.
I used the time clock introduced here.
First, import and edit the company logo design.
These days, devices like this can read files with any file extension.
(A file extension refers to the type of file. For example, “xls” for Excel or “pdf” for Adobe Reader.)
This machine can import files such as BMP (image editing software) and DXF (drawing files).
So, first convert the logo from Illustrator (AI) to DXF.
Open the DXF file in CAD, make some minor edits, and then convert it to a lower-version DXF file.
Then, import it into the machine's dedicated software.
Then, clock in.
I bought these monkey wrenches for use on-site and at the office.
These are the maximum sizes for 450-millimeter and 600-millimeter adjustable wrenches.
Sometimes I need two of these extra-large monkey wrenches!
And, well, it's pretty pricey, but it would really piss me off if this got stolen!
Besides, you can't write your name, can you?
Even if you write on it with a marker, it disappears right away. The pros use spray paint to color it in.
But if it ends up getting stolen and the color is removed, there's no way to tell.
So, I decided to go ahead and stamp everything I have at home, and this is how this monkey wrench turned out.

There's really no need to use this as the company logo!
Take numbers, for example. If you use meaningful numbers chosen by the company, the thief won't be able to figure them out.
And with this many products on the market, it’s practically impossible to tell.
The logo is created using dots to make it look like lines, but it can also be made to look like actual lines.
I'm thinking of using meaningful numbers from now on.
I guess it’s best to go with something that’s hard for thieves to spot.
That said, this will disappear too if it gets hit by Thunder, but there’s definitely always a mark left behind after you use Thunder to take something out, lol.
I guess some stupid thieves would do that, though.
These are measures to help prevent theft, even if only a little.
The company's assets are also the employees' assets!
