Are you measuring positioning errors?
The other day, during the final inspection, the inspector pointed out a positioning error to me.

We have installed a measuring frame (300 mm) and are taking measurements with its center (150 mm) as the origin (X and Y).
Set the bolt scale to zero and place the arrow plate on the rebar.
"That way, we can measure the misalignment," he said.

Since the bore diameter is φ96, there’s no way it could physically deviate from the standard value of 100 mm, lol.
We were talking about that, but that’s not what I meant—I was wondering, “What’s the point of that, anyway?”
So that's how it was, lol
It’s just one of those things—it’s listed in the specifications’ acceptance criteria, so there’s nothing we can do about it, right?
Earlier, I mentioned that this concept originally comes from the centerline of driven piles.
The inspector said, “I always think it’s pointless, but since it’s written there, I just go through the motions,” lol.
I really think so, too.

That's construction management that serves no purpose at all, isn't it?

When it comes to catch basins, I can’t help but wonder if it’s really okay that the standards (regarding where to install them) are so unclear.
But even without it, there's absolutely no problem lol
That said, the longer the drilling length gets, the more the hole tends to curve, so it’s really just a matter of the entry point (or exit point?), though.
