Is the exam rush over yet?

 

Toward the end of the fiscal year, starting around March 10, we were all running around like crazy with the rush of inspections lol

It's that time of year, isn't it?

 

That reminded me—the inspections back then had a bit of a small-theater feel to them.

 

During the examination

Site representatives and former government officials start yelling at the top of their lungs!

To young on-site staff and subcontractors, etc.

"Gooooooah!! Why aren't there enough of these?!"

"What the hell are you managing (constructing) here~~~ you idiot!!!"

"Gwaaaaaaakwse drftgy Fujiko lp"(I have no idea what he's talking about anymore.)

 

Everyone is left speechless by the sheer volume of his shouting and his fierce demeanor.

Especially young officials at government offices, for example...

 

So, the inspector

"Well, there's plenty of this part, so it'll be fine," or something like that

"Like, 'Be careful next time,' or something"

 

Somehow, that’s how the conversation went, and the final on-site inspection is coming to an end.

 

After that, the inspector, the entire government office staff, former employees, and the site representative all went out for lunch together, chatting and having a good time.

Those were the days.

 

In reality, the workmanship was solid overall, but of course there were some minor issues here and there (like a few centimeters off).

However, things used to be pretty strict, so if I didn't do something just right, I'd get scolded.

That said, everything went exactly as planned, lol.

 

Since I know that there are concerns about ○○ before the inspection and that the quality of ○○ is slightly lacking (though overall it’s fine), I’ll discuss this with the alumni and my agent.

The general pattern is that if the problem isn't pointed out, it's fine to just let it slide, but if it is pointed out, they get absolutely furious.

It was like, “I’ll make a huge scene here, so you go apologize to the inspector.”

 

It was a theatrical inspection where they tried to settle things by acting really angry, lol.

 

I suppose the inspector knows that, too.

And the inspector himself might end up at that next workplace, too~ lol (amigostment)

That said, when it comes to structures and construction, they used to be built incredibly solidly, and the quality was actually better than it is today!

Since we round off the finished dimensions, there’s virtually never a shortage of finished products.

So, rather than saying the quality was poor, that’s how they covered up the issues that couldn’t be fixed after construction (such as mismanagement or poor workmanship).

 

There’s also a certain degree of leniency—the idea that, since we’re human, we’re bound to make a few mistakes. (Not that I know, though.)

I think anyone who’s been in this industry for more than 20 years has probably had that kind of experience at least once.

I just wrote about how there used to be a time like that, lol.

Have any of you ever been scolded for no apparent reason during a medical exam??

I think that was a good era in its own way ^^
