The reason I’ve secured a board on top of the jack and set up the dial gauge is that,
Due to tension, the twists in the PC steel strands unwind, causing the jack cylinder to rotate, or
The cylinder head is small, so it tends to come loose.

There is a solution to this, but it doesn't actually exist yet!
