Basics of Reinforcement Bar Installation Scheduling | Avoiding Traffic Congestion During the Tomei Expressway Concentrated Construction Project

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Major traffic congestion due to concentrated construction work on the Tomei Expressway.

It can’t be helped on major highways like the Tomei and Meishin, which have heavy traffic, but there are actually quite a few alternative routes available these days.

Sometimes they head for the Chuo Expressway, and other times they head for the Wangan Expressway.

Even if the travel time is the same, I feel like being on the move is better than being stuck in traffic, so I try to avoid that route as much as possible.

Before long, with self-driving cars, traffic jams will disappear, driving will become a thing of the past—and then the absence of driving will become a source of stress?? lol

But that's beside the point.

Layout

The basic pattern for rebar placement was a square pattern.

For example, if the pitch is 1.5 meters, it would look something like this.

Lately, the staggered arrangement has become the standard.

In the case of sprayed mortar surfaces, the tiles are usually laid in a staggered pattern.

Manual for the Design and Construction of Earthwork for Natural Ground ReinforcementAs it clearly states there, I want to prevent partial collapse.

If you need to carry out construction work on-site on short notice, we recommend a staggered layout.

For more details on the approach,Manual for the Design and Construction of Earthwork for Natural Ground ReinforcementIt starts on page 80.

I'd really like to go into more detail about this part, but...

See you next time lol

See you later.
