Here's a story I heard the other day from a contractor I know.
Construction Company A, which was working on a major project, was a third-tier subcontractor.
現場が終わると1次下請けに次回は2次を飛ばして直接仕事クレと営業。
The primary contractor was on guard and apparently asked one of my acquaintances, “Who is that contractor?”
There are quite a few people who go out to pitch to subcontractors and general contractors by mentioning the names of companies they know only a little about.
同じく、どこどこの会社のだれだれを知っていますよ～って感じで営業行く方々。
A sales approach that involves using someone else's name.
I wouldn't recommend it, lol.
I'm not saying it's bad. But as someone who comes here, I view it very skeptically.
This is a tactic often used by people whose companies or who themselves lack any particular strengths.
It’s just like the proverb, “to ride on someone else’s coattails.”
To put it another way, this behavior basically means, “As long as I’m okay, that’s all that matters!” but,
As contractors, we all want to do a good job for the general contractor, right?
The general contractor makes a profit, and so do we.
That's why we work quickly and efficiently.
The same is true from the opposite perspective.
しかし、上記の様な方々は自分だけが良ければ問題無い業者です。
So if things get tough, they'll just bail and run away.
And yet, they seem to go all out bashing other companies, which, in a way, is incredibly destructive.
Apparently, people say things like that on entertainment shows too, so I hear all kinds of stories lol
知らない所で知らない人に文句等を言われるって。。。ファン？？って思えちゃいますｗ
Well, the name “Enta” has taken on a life of its own to some extent, but let me make this clear.
I have very few friends!!
There are even fewer connections among slope construction contractors!
I do know a few people who work at branch offices.
かつての後輩や、先輩などもいます。がほぼ連絡取っていませんし、交流ないです。
設計や積算などで聞きたい時は連絡したりしますけど。工法の傾向や価格など。
People who know me probably think of me mainly as a supplier of materials.
Please be very careful of people who try to get close to you by using someone else's name lol
