She said she was going to the hospital to take care of her girlfriend, who had been admitted 10 days before payday, so she took the day off.

It seemed like he was making some kind of excuse, but,
I suspect there are some unscrupulous Japanese and Vietnamese people who are engaging in back-channel dealings.

Even if a technical intern runs away, the police won’t actually do anything about it, and Immigration generally won’t take action either.

It really seems like Japanese people are just getting taken advantage of by foreigners more and more.
One thing that occurred to me this time is that, when it comes to technical interns, it would be better to avoid hiring Vietnamese nationals in the future. (This is strictly my personal opinion.)
To be honest, I've been thinking this for a while now, but dealing with Vietnamese people is just too difficult.
Of course, there are plenty of good kids, too.
However, when the worst aspects of Vietnamese people come to light, things get absolutely terrible.
Companies are just exploited to the fullest and then abandoned.
As a negative trait of Vietnamese people,

Tells lies easily
This really happens a lot.
I don't think this kind of thing suits Japanese people.
Once you get used to it, the unique characteristics of each country start to become apparent, so I don't think there's a problem as long as we can teach students about them.
I'm thinking that, aside from the really nice Vietnamese girl who's here right now, I'm good—lol.
And there is also the fact that the quality of Vietnamese people today has declined significantly.
This is because, even when we try to recruit people, we have a hard time finding enough candidates,
It’s a situation where people over 30 from rural areas who can’t read or write are being forcibly brought here.
Naturally, the number of children who aren’t attending school is increasing, and it seems that these children tend to leave Japan quickly.
If someone asks, “So, what’s the next country?” there are actually quite a few clues, but,
To put it simply, people in countries with a wider economic gap than Japan tend to work much harder, and there are many well-behaved people among them. (Diligent)
I think your company will start receiving a lot of calls from underground agencies trying to place Vietnamese workers with you. (There are already plenty.)
That recruitment agency refers unregistered technical interns who have absconded.
They might be cheaper than usual or seem a little suspicious in some way, but if you're thinking of hiring them,
Please be sure to check your Residence Card.
If you hire them as is, you’ll be held liable as an employer!
Please make sure to avoid accepting job offers from suspicious companies like this in the future.

Just how difficult it is to hire technical interns—more so than the media and outsiders make it out to be...
