Out of all the tasks involved in managing the legal framework, this is the one I really don't want to do lol
Measurement of the center-to-center distance between frames.
Suppose there was a 1,000-meter extension of the legal boundary.
Suppose we measure the center-to-center distance of the frames during assembly.
How many locations do you measure?

Well, according to the design, there’s one such feature per 100 meters, so that makes 10 in total, but,
For frame assembly workers, about two locations are sufficient.
Since the product isn't in its final form at the assembly stage, I would say about three spots would be enough.
I've been managing things this way all along, and I've never had any issues pointed out during inspections.
The general contractor is worried about pointing this out lol
People often tell me, “You used to shoot for subcontractors, too.”
Personally, I don't want to do any unnecessary construction management, but if the general contractor's supervisor says so... that's kind of how I feel.
It's fine as long as you don't include it in the construction plan from the very beginning.
In fact, the key aspects of the legal framework are:Reinforcement Bar Overlap and CoverThat's it.
Since mortar will be applied after assembly is complete, this area will be hidden from view.
Rather than taking a lot of photos of the center-to-center spacing, please make sure to take clear photos of the rebar overlaps and the rebar cover.
The overlap of rebar is a critical aspect of quality control.
And this is where the main topic of this post really begins, lol.
The tools used to measure center-to-center distances—haven't they stayed the same for over 20 years?
Is ribbon tape the only option in our industry?
It might be a measuring rod in some cases, but I really wish they’d make a dedicated tool that makes measuring easy.
I've been thinking this for quite a while now, but you just don't find them very often!

No matter how long it takes, I keep climbing up, tapping in a concrete nail lightly, moving to the side, tapping in another concrete nail lightly,
I pulled on the ribbon tape and it came off...
...and keeps repeating that.

I'm totally serious about putting my all into this part, too!
