The other day, I showed you a video of a temporary anchor being cut.
Temporary Anchor Removal Process
Some people often cut this with a gas torch.
I wouldn't recommend that.
It's better to use Thunder whenever possible.
The photo shows the PC steel strands from the other day.
Take a look at this cut surface. It’s cut cleanly and crisply.
In reality, each one is subjected to a load of about 12 metric tons, so,
It feels like it snaps the moment the angle grinder blade cuts halfway into a single strand of the wire.
If this were gas cutting, it would be melted.
If the sole purpose is cutting (unloading), that’s fine, but the next step involves pulling it out.
If the cut surface isn't clean when you pull it out,
It's hard to insert wedge-type and clamp-type drawing jigs.
In the worst-case scenario, we might have to cut it once with a sander before proceeding.
I want to avoid doing the same work twice as much as possible, so I recommend using a sander.
All that's left is to use the drawing die to draw the part.

The pulling operation gets extremely oily.
Even a brand-new jacket gets caked in mud in just one day.
If this is your first time trying this, be prepared—it’s incredibly oily, lol.
Use your usual angle grinder cutting disc to cut this into pieces about 1 to 2 meters long.
This is it!! It cuts like a charm!
The name is really bad, and if I saw that package sitting there, I definitely wouldn't pick it up! LOL

When taking scrap metal to a scrap yard, be sure to lay a blue tarp on the truck bed before transporting it.
Please be careful, as you'll get covered in rust-preventive oil and get incredibly dirty.
