What Is the Counter-Curl Application Method? (Part 1) | The Basics of Applying from Top to Bottom

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

This month has been a total nightmare in terms of my schedule, so I haven't been able to write any proper blog posts.

Even if there are more and more things I want to write about, it’s hard to get my point across if I can’t draw, right?

Just when I'm thinking, "Oh, looks like there might be a spot open here...," someone will say, "Okay, here then!" or "Okay, over there then!" and that's that.

I do wish times like this would last all year round, though...

Before I know it, I'll probably be like, "Whoa, I don't have a job!" lol

But that's beside the point.

About Reverse-Winding Installation

Well, in this industry, it’s become the norm for us.

The thing is, back in the day, spiral installation wasn't actually standard practice!

In fact, reverse-winding construction became very popular for a while, and now there’s even a standard method for it.

However, since there is no standard labor rate for spiral-winding construction in government building designs, the cost remains the same.

For now, let's start with the reverse-spin method.

Reverse-Winding Construction Plan

There are mountains like the ones shown above.

If it's a normal mountain with no issues, we'll proceed with the excavation as is.

The process then proceeds to surface treatment and formwork construction.

Counter-rotation Application, Standard Cut

As shown above, the standard installation process involves cutting it cleanly so it fits into the frame.

However, if it collapses along the way, or if the mountain is already in poor condition (due to advanced weathering), there is a risk of collapse.

Reverse-Winding Construction Collapse

It may fall apart before you cut it.

Basically, if you disturb a mountain, it gradually becomes more unstable, which can lead to a landslide.

Furthermore, since logging and other activities have been completed, rainwater can now seep into the natural ground more easily.

So, what should we do? That’s where the counter-rotation method comes in!

So, see you tomorrow lol

See you later.

After we finish the reverse drilling, we’ll have to do some greening… so the president is doing the dewatering drilling.
It's because it's closer to the scene, right? lol
