When I heard that, I asked, “Do you have a health insurance card?” He said he did, so I asked to see it—and lo and behold,
National Health Insurance!!
It's a corporation, after all.
You just don't see such terrible treatment these days, do you?

Furthermore, the company claims that it pays this as an outsourcing fee in order to keep its expenses down.
So, even if I were to get injured on the job, since I’m essentially a sole proprietor, I’d have to take full responsibility myself.

What kind of health insurance do you all have?

For corporations, social insurance is mandatory if there are five or more employees.That's it.

Even if you are a sole proprietor, social insurance is mandatory if you regularly employ five or more people.That's it.
If you're thinking, "Wait a minute... is something wrong with my company??" please check with your company.
In some cases, they may be operating as a "fake sole proprietor."
Realistically, I think this is something that people who have always worked as employees (in salaried positions) aren't aware of.
This is something business owners should naturally know.
From a business owner’s perspective, there are actually quite a few people who think, “I don’t want to pay social insurance premiums just to keep costs down!” lol
If you mainly work on public works projects, it goes without saying that 100% of you are enrolled!
If you know anyone working primarily in the private sector who isn't aware of this, please let them know.
Fake sole proprietorships (sham contracting) are a crime.
