Water came out of the PC steel strand!!! What should I do in a situation like this!? (Part 1)
This is a continuation of the previous post.
Water leaked from the head of a ground anchor for some reason.
The most likely causes are probably something happening nearby, a change in the water level, or an earthquake.

This anchor is shot!
That's not to say...
Since the problem stems from pressurized water inside the underground structure, removing that water will allow the anchors to be put into service.
Of course, I’m sure the anchor manufacturer takes those factors into account, but there are still limits to what the material can handle, right? lol
Nature is the ultimate force, after all, lol.
Post-Construction Measures
What should we do if water starts leaking like this after construction?
First, remove the head cap.
It's possible that the inside of the head cap is also soaked.
Next, where does the PC strand come out?
There are only a few places where water comes out.

1. The gap between the individual strands of PC steel strand
2. Clearance between the PC steel strand and the white polyethylene tube coated with grease
3. Clearance Between the Sheath Tube and the Black Poly Pipe
4. The boundary between the grout and the natural ground
Water comes out here!
In the case of a gap in the PC steel strand mentioned in ①, it might be possible to stop it by stuffing something clay-like that hardens into the gap from above.
Just keep in mind that intracranial pressure can be quite high, so just think of it as, “It’d be nice if it stopped.”
It's the same for ② and ③, but the only thing you can really do is apply some kind of hardening agent and put on a rubber cap.
Since it can sometimes come out of the anchor head as well, in that case, you’d inject a rubber-based resin or something like that.
I'm stumped on #4 lol

However, the simplest method is to perform dewatering drilling in an area that does not affect the anchor.
If you drill a 90-diameter hole and insert a φ40 drainage pipe, the pressurized water will definitely concentrate there!
Since it's internal pressure, a significant amount of pressure is concentrated there, so it's only a matter of time before water starts leaking out.
Even if heavy rain causes excess pore water pressure to rise, the water will be drained through the dewatering boreholes at that location, which serves as a measure to prevent collapse.
Just by doing this, you can prevent water from leaking from the ground anchor work after the head has been treated.
These are the only measures available, but they're incredibly effective!
