Calibration of the Mud Balance

A lot of people usually think that Mad Balance doesn't have calibration, right?

Basically, if you add something with a specific gravity of 1 and balance it, the air bubble will end up in the center.

That's the normal condition, but as you use it, you might notice a slight residue of mortar or some mortar stuck to it.

Or they might be slightly worn down.

So, please calibrate the mud balance meters you have.

Calibration Method

1. Fill the container with water and close the lid as usual.

2. Wipe it clean and adjust the balance.

3. Set the weight in position 1; if the air bubble is in the center, it's fine.

4. If it appears to be leaning in either direction, adjustments are necessary.

5. Look at the opposite end (the rod-shaped end) of the Mad Balance unit.

There's a cap here.

6. Please remove it.

7. There is a Phillips or flat-head screw inside.

8. Adjust it by turning it little by little.

9. It takes a little practice.

10. Make sure the lid is securely fastened, and then remeasure (calibrate).

11. If you can't do it yourself, it's better to hire a professional.
