Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The mixer I've been working on since last week is almost finished.

That's the MS-600B model from Toho Chika Koki Co., Ltd., isn't it?
It was in terrible shape, but I gave it a full restoration.
We’ll keep the parts that are still usable and replace the defective ones—it’s a custom build.
The Challenging Aspects of Machine Maintenance
The hardest part is definitely polishing, isn't it?
It's about removing rust.
I'll remove the rust using the cutting blade on the No. 60 grinder (sander).
If the affected area is large, first use a cup to quickly scrape off the paint, then remove the rust with a scraper.
The badly damaged areas are rotted, so we'll trim them away and re-cover them with new material.
The steel plate itself is thin, so welding it is actually quite difficult.
Welding Machine
We have standard semi-automatic arc welders and TIG welders.
Semi-automatic arc welding machines are used in areas subject to heavy loads, wear, or high friction.
We use that type of welding rod.
A TIG welder (DC) is ideal for detailed work in small spaces. It’s also capable of welding stainless steel, making it extremely convenient.
These days, since cast iron welding rods are available, we’ve become able to handle just about anything.
The Benefits of In-House Maintenance
When I'm too busy, can't make it in time, or don't have time to do the maintenance myself, I outsource it.
However, outsourcing it to another company will cost money.
When we're not busy, our employees do the work lol
Although it's not very efficient, it lets you know immediately which part has failed when a malfunction occurs, and you can order exactly the right replacement part.
This is actually really important on the job.
Since we don't know how to perform maintenance, we end up wasting time by calling in the manufacturer's technicians or replacing the equipment.
If you know how to service that machine, you'll know exactly which parts to replace to fix it right away, so it'll be fixed in no time.
This means there will be fewer downtime periods at the worksite.
If our employees perform the maintenance, we can instantly share information in the event of a malfunction!
The Essentials of Machine Maintenance
So, in the end...
If it's just a matter of replacing the visible parts—that is, replacing the assembly—it's actually really simple.
So, what makes it difficult is that,
This is it!

It's electricity!
This is really hard because you can't see it!
So, this is the kind of thing I’d like to leave to the pros, but,Did you know it's extremely expensive?
Honestly, it's so expensive it makes me mad!!!
Just adding a magnetic switch and a circuit breaker to this motor costs about 70,000 yen.
Depending on the situation, it might be even more↑↑↑
Well, if I were to build this distribution panel or control panel, I'd need a license, lol.
That's kind of a gray area, lol (Who's the author?). I have no idea, lololol
Well, I guess I just have to copy them, right??
I'll leave that up to you, lol
In the end,
It's fun to do it yourself.
This, that, and the other thing. That’s the kind of era we’re entering.
Doing this, that, and the other thing,An Era of Making the Most of Your SkillsThat's it.
This one might be powerful on its own, but which one is the most versatile?
In the years ahead, only service providers capable of handling a wide range of tasks at about 60% efficiency will survive.
The company you choose will shape your future.
The era of AI (artificial intelligence) conducting career assessments is just around the corner.
The more options you have and the more experience you gain, the more you'll start to consider different possibilities!
Well, see you later lol
P.S.
By the way, at Enta, we’re actively recruiting mechanics.

Good morning. This is Kappa Ebisen No. 5. The other day, I saw a familiar-looking cardboard box in the company’s industrial waste bin, so I checked what was inside… and found a huge pile of magnetic switches (lol). It seems some clueless worker who had no idea what they were doing threw them away while cleaning up, so I gave them a stern verbal warning (lol). If you don’t keep up with machine maintenance regularly, the whole operation really does come to a standstill, doesn’t it? (I haven’t been working on machinery lately, though.) It’s hot out there, so everyone, please take care of yourselves. See you!
Thank you as always.
Thank you for your hard work.
It seems that ignorance is becoming a crime these days.
Maintenance is really important for keeping things running smoothly on site, isn't it?
The weather can be unpredictable this time of year, so please be careful while you work!
Stay safe!
It's not Toho Chika Kogyo, but Toho Chika Koki Co., Ltd.
Lately, we've been focusing on geothermal energy.
Thank you for pointing that out.
I'm sorry.
I will correct that.
We look forward to your continued support.
