I've been working at a water collection and drainage boring site since last week.

And so, I’m taking photos on location for the first time in a while, but,

I'm forgetting to do it!

That is when filling out the KY formKanji!!

I find myself unable to write kanji anymore.

These days, I hardly ever write anything by hand anymore—other than on my computer or smartphone.

Maybe that's why I can't seem to remember any kanji lol

I can't figure it out at all, lol.

And I don't even think it's a bad thing, lol.

That's because if you know which kanji to use, you can just look it up, and these days, hardly anyone writes by hand anymore.

So, it's essential to use KY while searching!

On the other hand, since my hands remember the layout of the keyboard, I can type fairly quickly.

It’s been 27 years since I started with PC-9821 DOSV CAD when I was 18.

After trying out all kinds of software and learning a lot of skills, you ended up forgetting how to write kanji lol

Given the way things are going, will language probably become unnecessary? Well, I suppose it will all become standardized.

In the sense that translation technology is advancing. Will characters and words become a common language?

If that happens, will the culture of kanji—which has continued for thousands of years—just become something like, “People in the old days used to use kanji”?

In a way, it's kind of funny, though.

On-site, we still write out "KY" in full.

I suppose we'll see something like an "electronic KY" eventually, won't we?

And that's done with voice recognition, too.

By the way, it seems the human brain doesn’t actually forget things it doesn’t need, but rather has a tendency to push them to the back of its mind, and it’s apparently a real hassle to dig them back up lol.
