This mistake is something you can't really tell unless you look at it from a long-term perspective, but,
Rust on the Anchor HeadThat's it.
In actual construction, applying grease to the anchor head after tightening is something that’s surprisingly rarely done.
Generally, you apply grease to the head cap and close the lid.
I think that's it.
This cap is a KTB, but there is grease inside the inner cap.
You're wearing this just as it is, right?
Normally, you'd think that's the end of it, right?
But with this setup, it still rusts.
I’ve written about this topic once before, but for now, when it comes to ground anchor construction, from a long-term perspective,
It's pretty gross, so this is important. The point is, I'm saying this twice, lol.
Once the tension has subsided, apply rust-preventive oil as soon as possible.
Something like this.
As early as possibleBlocks out water and oxygen, which cause rustPlease do so.
Also, since the cut ends of PC steel wire rust immediately after cutting, please apply epoxy paint or rust-preventive oil to them.
