The PC spacers I introduced the other day.
The catalog is getting downloaded at an amazing rate, lol.
That really startled me.
So, it turns out everyone was looking for metal spacers, wasn't it?
There are all kinds of them, but this PC spacer won't get tangled, right?
The downside of wire-type spacers is that they tend to get tangled and are difficult to remove.
This spacer doesn't have that.
I generally don't get involved.
Please give it a try.
But that's beside the point.
Once again, I’d like to talk about the i-construction exhibition that took place the other day, but,
I actually found some really good grease.
We construction workers use a lot of lubricant, don't we?
Among all of them, I go out to find the ones that people say are the best.
So, we'll test it out on-site, listen to what our employees have to say, and then decide whether to continue using it.
Here is a list of everything we use, from grease to oil.
Oil-based (any brand)
*When it comes to oil-based products, the viscosity grade is important. The higher the number, the thinner the consistency. The lower the number, the thicker it becomes.
1. Air hammers, down-the-hole hammers, and other equipment such as rock drills and suspended drilling rigs, etc.
Rock Oil No. 100 (around 7,000 yen per 1-to can)
2. Hydraulic oil for units, etc.
Hydraulic oil No. 46 (around 5,000 yen per 1-to can)—we buy it in drums, so it’s even cheaper.
3. Diesel Engine Oil
10W-30 (around 5,000 yen per 1-to can) is even cheaper if you buy it by the drum.
Goolies-style
1. The bearing section of the drilling machine, areas with low rotational speed and light loads, and the threaded sections of the casing
Organic Molybdenum Grease (Yellow, stain-resistant) (Approx. 15,000 yen per pail)
At our place, we use a product called Kingstar EP from Nippon Grease.
2. Bearing areas of the gun (spray gun), such as the interior of the high-speed, high-temperature hammer and the swivel
Heavy-Duty Multi-Purpose Grease (Red) in a flexible tube—2,000 yen per tube
Extreme-Pressure Multi-Purpose Grease (Red) in a bellows tube—1,800 yen per tube

So, that's pretty much how I use it. I adjust it slightly depending on the location.
So, I saw this at a trade show the other day, and I'm thinking of ordering it!
The reason is that I really liked it during an experiment at the exhibition.
What I like about it is that, even under extreme pressure and no matter how much it spins, it doesn't melt and fall off easily.
I thought it was excellent for the rotating part of the drilling machine.
I mean, even if you grease the swivel, most of it just runs right off, doesn't it?
I know you're throwing it away, but if even a little bit of it could be saved, I think that would reduce consumption and keep costs down...
And above all, if there’s less wear and tear on the machinery and lubrication performance improves, that means you’ll need fewer replacement parts. (Think long-term!)
