Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
I received a warning after writing in a recent blog post that a certain part wasn't necessary.

Well, it seems that part of that company's logo was visible, so I'm sorry about that—I've gone ahead and blurred it out.
I am truly grateful for the attention this has received (including the awareness it has raised).
However, in my personal opinion, I think it’s not wrong.
I've been in the industry for 26 years.
I guess I’m pretty experienced, but isn’t it strange that nothing has changed at all in these past 26 years? (That part, I mean.)
I suppose there are some products out there that don’t need to change because they’re good, but the fact remains that there are still unnecessary things out there, even as the products and methods we use continue to evolve.
Even though there are many people who have long thought it was strange, it’s still on the market.
What does this mean??
Is it okay for companies to sell anything, as long as it sells?
All of the public works projects we carry out are funded by tax revenue.
We are carrying out construction work using tax dollars. We are purchasing materials with tax dollars.
What do you think about saying, “It’s a waste, and it doesn’t make sense, but please buy it anyway”?
Does anyone else ever go shopping and think, “This is a waste of money, but I’ll buy it anyway”? LOL (Well, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, lol)
It’s totally different from when a husband thinks the things his wife buys are a waste of money, lol (and vice versa).
Even items that NEXCO has determined are no longer necessary in this day and age are still being used by prefectures and cities.
This is kind of weird, isn't it? lol
Well, this is just my personal opinion, though.
There are some things I absolutely want to include because they're necessary.
I imagine there are some people who want to include it because the estimated cost will go down.
I'm just saying that I don't like Kirin Beer but I do like Asahi Beer, but since some people don't take kindly to that, it's a bit tricky.
These days, we live in an era where we can speak our minds freely—whether it’s good or bad.
We live in an age where anyone can share information.
We live in an age where it’s easy to say and understand what’s good and what’s bad.
We live in an age where it's easy to gather customer feedback.
So, are you just going to cover your ears??
So, I thought I'd try conducting a survey, lol.
Engineers, craftsmen, designers, government officials, material suppliers, and members of the general public are reading this blog.
I think you'll understand how this applies, especially if you're an engineer or craftsman working on-site, so please do give it a try.

I'll have the survey ready by tomorrow.
I don't know what the outcome will be, but even though this isn't an election, I'd like to hear what the public thinks.
I don't know how the manufacturer will respond to these results.
However, I believe it will serve as a good starting point for something positive.
See you later.
