At big companies, you're basically under house arrest as soon as it comes to light, lol.
During the interrogation following his house arrest, he was asked about his relationships with related companies and how he was involved in which projects,
I suppose it's a matter of checking cash flows and personal bank statements, etc.
From there, they'll go back in time and uncover everything, starting with your emails.
People who think they won't get caught use their work email.
People who are thorough from the start use free email accounts lol (or is that even worse?)
As part of that, we’ll be interviewing the subcontractors involved.
With major companies, the discussions take place from the very beginning with lawyers and tax accountants involved, so everything is strictly regulated from a legal standpoint.
If either party is acting in bad faith, I think criminal charges are inevitable.
Personally, I'd love to see them keep it up.
I think we should keep bringing crimes like this to light.
That said, they get involved in a situation where they can’t refuse to work as a subcontractor, only to be cut off by the end client. (This is commonly referred to as being “blacklisted.”)
Or it will end with a lawsuit.
This is tough, isn't it?
That said, we're both just as guilty, though.
We will get the employee who embezzled funds to admit guilt and move forward with a repayment plan.
If you continue to play dumb or refuse to admit this until the very end, it looks like this will lead to criminal charges.
If it turns into a criminal complaint, does that mean we won't be able to recover that money?
Subcontractors will be barred from the premises (and criminal charges may be filed in severe cases).
What would you do if, in the future, an employee at a major company approached you with a shady deal like this?
In my opinion, I think it’s important to tell the person directly, “You really should stop embezzling!”
If you do that, it’ll show that this person isn’t the type to do that kind of thing, and honestly, it’d be hard to say it two or three times, lol.
Other than that, I guess I’ll have to consult with my superior on behalf of our company (as a subcontractor).
People who do bad things will keep doing them over and over again.
Well, either way, you should probably stop embezzling, right?
You probably think the people around you don't understand, but I think they actually understand quite well.
I mean, isn't that weird?
That sense of everyday life, their belongings, and how close they are to their subcontractors lol
Everyone knows that.
It's just that I don't say it.
Sooner or later, they'll get taken down by a whistleblower.
In civil engineering, trying to solve problems with money is proof that you lack technical skills.
If you want to win, it's all about skill.
