This time of year is the hardest, isn't it…

I really hope work keeps piling up so I can get busy soon (lol)

But that's beside the point.

I often hear people say that ordering last year was somehow different from how it is now.

Both the general contractor and the subcontractor's president used to say that a lot.

As I mentioned before, has the leveling off begun?

I remember that around this time last year, I didn't have a job and was completely immersed in studying for my certifications.

I’m really grateful that I’ve received quite a few offers this year.

Will things really turn out that way?

It involves carrying over the budget for two years, but,

I’m wondering a little bit if that’s even possible at the prefectural, city, and town levels.

That said, from our perspective as people whose livelihood depends on public works projects, we have no choice but to follow suit for the time being.

Since private-sector construction projects have been on the rise lately, I suppose we should gradually shift our focus to them as well.

When the focus is solely on public works projects, things get tough in situations like this.

So, it’s important to strike a balance in how you take on work.

I can't help but wonder if this is the kind of era where we should be taking on more jobs in the private sector.

I'm in Nagano today.

Around the end of March, things finally start to pick up in Nagano Prefecture.

It's finally here.

So that means the trend toward standardization is still a ways off (lol).

I think things will eventually get better if they're leveled out slowly and steadily, though.
