Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.

Have you ever written a construction plan?
If you're a subcontractor at the second tier or lower, you rarely get to see the project plans, do you?
Ideally, all subcontractors should be familiar with the construction plan.
The reason for this is that the foundation of any construction project lies in the construction plan.
We will carry out the construction in accordance with the construction plan.
This is the main point, so be sure to follow it strictly.
However, the field is a living, breathing environment, and the situation changes by the minute every day.
We will carry out the construction work in accordance with the basic guidelines while adapting to the conditions on-site.
Furthermore, construction management must be carried out in accordance with the construction plan.

I think the construction crew can adapt fairly freely while still staying on track with the main plan, but the same can’t be said for construction management.
We will prepare a construction plan based on the standard specifications issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the respective prefectures, and include the management plan in that document.
Since construction management is carried out based on the construction management plan, anything less than that simply won't do.
It’s not as simple as saying, “Just interpret it however you like and manage it however you like.”
For example, managing too many things unnecessarily, or managing things that aren't necessary.
This doesn't mean anything.
What the government agency requires is construction management in accordance with the construction management guidelines; no additional management is necessary.
However, thoughtful management is a different story.
For example, “This part will be cut out, so even though it’s not listed in the checklist, let’s measure and take a photo of it anyway.”
So things like that are okay.

What matters is thoughtful construction management, not unnecessary bureaucracy.
I used to be a site manager myself, so I understand this well—there are a lot of supervisors who engage in unnecessary construction management.
This wasteful construction management not only brings construction work to a halt, but ultimately accomplishes nothing.
Unnecessary photos and the work involved in managing them are a waste of time when organizing documents, too. (It’s a vicious cycle, lol.)
And the reason I do pointless things is because I worry.
I'm worried about my own construction management, so I end up taking pictures of this and that.
To dispel these concerns, you need to thoroughly study the common specifications and technical manuals!
Where is what written? How is it written?
Knowing even just that much will help ease your anxiety a little, don't you think?
I'm anxious because I don't know.
Once you know about it, it's really no big deal.
After that, it’s just a matter of getting used to the inspections, though (though you have to be the general contractor for this part).
Let’s carry out thoughtful construction management based on the construction plan!
See you later.
