Special Drilling Methods in Ground Anchor Construction (Part 1)
Continuing from last time, this is special drilling.
Lately, I've been forgetting about posts I planned to continue (like "Part 2," "Part 3," and so on) a few days later, and sometimes people point it out to me lol.

In the previous post, the water-stopping box was already in place, but I’d like to show you the steps leading up to that.
First up is the mouthpiece.
Get this ready. (You can buy it at FSC Fujiwara Industries.)
Align the outer circumference of the nozzle with the drilling position and weld it securely all the way around.
When doing arc welding on-site, the welding rod hits the sheet piles, making it difficult to work, but a semi-automatic welder requires gas.
It's up to the contractor which method to use, but we went with the simpler arc welding.
However, welding may take longer because it can be difficult to insert the rod.
From this position, install the water-stopping box during the drilling phase.
That completes the setup.
From this position, the casing will be inserted and the borehole drilled.
Please apply grease to the rubber part at the entrance.
The gasket here is prone to damage during drilling.
Since this is the pipe connection for installing the water-stopping box, please weld it securely all around to firmly secure the water-stopping box.
If this is not done, pressurized water may leak out, which could cause the soil inside to wash away.
