Just the other day, I was telling a rather amusing story at our year-end party.
In the future, AI and robots will take our jobs.
So, this will go away, and that will stay.
That's what we were talking about.
It’s inevitable that the retail industry will eventually disappear, isn’t it?
School education will likely become automated as well.
That said, AI and robots aren't exactly all-purpose either.
There are basic instructions, and you respond to them.
You often hear on TV, the radio, or the internet that an answer was derived using “XX AI,” but,
Behind the scenes, quite a few people are actually doing all sorts of things, lol.
For now, it's probably going to be pretty difficult for AI to get ahead of humans.
After all, AI is just one tool among many—like a hammer.
However, there are certainly a fair number of jobs that are gradually disappearing.
That’s probably true. Jobs such as real estate brokerage and the so-called “professional services” will likely become more challenging.
Anyone can get a certification, and there are standard forms to fill out.
It looks like fees are going to be standardized nationwide, too. (Just my personal opinion, though.)
On the other hand, what kind of jobs will never go away?
When you think that, does anything come to mind?
As I often say, that isHumanityThat's right.

Take education, for example.
Even if AI and robots can teach math, they cannot teach the essential aspects of what it means to be human, such as imagination.
Even though AI can easily calculate that 1 + 1 = 2, it will never come up with the answer 1 + 1 = "田" (like a riddle).
I guess we'll start seeing schools and cram schools that help boost imagination and creativity, won't we?
I guess we slope workers will just have to stick with things as they are for a while, lol.
That's because a lot of it is done by hand, so it can't be helped.
However, as machinery continues to advance rapidly, there are now remote-controlled sprayers and drilling machines (the latter is currently being developed by a major company).
Machines are getting better and better.
We humans will likely become even more efficient by using these tools.
I suppose it will make my work easier and faster.
I'm really looking forward to future machine development.
Before you start worrying that your job will be taken away, let's start imagining something new!
