Generally speaking, whether it's civil engineering or architecture, specialized contractors are typically brought in, so it's normal for the project to involve no more than two tiers of subcontractors, right?
However, sometimes a piece of paper might get mixed in there.
In the case of money, that piece of paper serves as a medium of exchange or a form of credit.
When it comes to third-tier subcontractors, there are even individuals or contractors who can’t reveal their names!? lol
To hide it, I put some paper in there...
It used to happen a lot, but I think it’s less common now. (I’m not really sure about the current situation.)
This trend is likely to continue accelerating in the future.
Contractors without a construction license will increasingly be barred from entering the market.
But with such a severe labor shortage and a lack of contractors, I can’t help but wonder how they’re going to manage.
Especially in the field of architecture...
I think most of us slope engineers usually stop at the second stage, but if there’s really no one else around, I guess we’d have no choice but to go to the third stage, huh!?
Especially right when a disaster or something like that happens, people get swept away all at once, you know?

It looks like there are up to three levels of specialized construction work (related to patents).
I seem to recall that there were prefectures where trading companies held the rights to construction projects and were required to be involved.

A trading company that doesn't handle construction acts as an intermediary, selling only the materials while a contractor handles the actual construction...
I don't know anything about construction, so even if I ask a trading company, they won't know—so maybe I should ask the association or something!? lol
From the general contractor's perspective, that's a real source of frustration, isn't it?
I think things are going to get even tougher from here on out, but just how far will the government be willing to compromise?!
I guess the main contractor is probably the one in the most trouble...
