A Young Drilling Machine Operator's Growth Journal | Second Drilling Site

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, I went out to the job site.

An employee took a day off for personal reasons, so I was brought in as a replacement.

I'm in charge of the plant. (Ground anchor site)

This is the second worksite for this young employee.

As I watched the employee drilling, I was impressed and thought, “He’s actually pretty good at this,” lol.

You still have a ways to go when it comes to planning and operations, but you're really growing by leaps and bounds.

I hope you’ll gain even more experience and be able to handle the job site effectively as an operator and as a foreman.

In our case, rather than having them learn by watching, we teach them by letting them touch things. (The master)

"Do this, do that, if this happens, do that," and so on

Since we'll be doing that together, it'll actually go by surprisingly quickly if it's just the surgery.

We'll keep making adjustments to any methods that aren't working or aren't effective.

Once I've taught them the basics, I think it's fine for them to continue exploring on their own using their own methods and expertise.

I'm working full steam ahead at the plant this morning!!

I was totally wiped out this afternoon lol

After all, when you lead a life centered around desk work, you don't get enough exercise, and

I was really struggling to load 25 kg of cement into the grout mixer lol

I decided to skip the surgery after all. It’s been about a year since I’ve touched it, so it’d be too risky, lol.

I didn't want anyone to get hurt, so I polished the plant until it was sparkling clean.
(I guess all I can do is clean...)

Still, it’s really gratifying to see our young employees grow like this.

Lately, I've been leaving everything to the foremen, so it's nice to get out to the job site once in a while.

See you later.
