Shocked by Bankruptcies Caused by Measures to Exclude Organized Crime Groups | The Dark Side of the Industry

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

There was an article the other day about Teikoku Databank’s latest trend report.

Here is information regarding the bankruptcy of a major construction company in Kyushu.

Ultimately, it all comes down to ties to antisocial forces.

This is the first time I've seen an article like this since I've been in this industry.

Have any of you heard of this?

I was so surprised!!

In a way, it feels like a warning, doesn't it?

Does it seem like both the police and government agencies are stepping up their efforts?

Yakuza

There used to be quite a few companies like that back in the day, but I wonder if they really went that overboard??

After all, it’s best to avoid situations where a subcontractor treats you to a meal or where money changes hands.

It's definitely not healthy.

It seems there are many cases where people are subsequently threatened or coerced because of this, so please be careful.

Especially for general contractors.

Police

After all, a steady, hard-working approach is best for us.

I'd rather compete based on my own abilities than rely on money to get special treatment from someone.

If you say, “Money is a form of skill too!”—well, maybe that’s true, but it’s the actual construction work that counts, lol.

That’s where it all comes down to for small, independent contractors like us if we’re going to survive.

Please be careful of strange temptations, everyone.

See you later.
