Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
Are there monsters living on the set!? lol
The other day, with just one more to go, the engine started acting up!
Signs of a Clogged Fuel Filter... (When This Happens)
I’ll have the fuel filter shipped to a Yamato Transport branch at a later date and have it repaired first thing in the morning. (Repair instructions to follow.)
And then we got back together.
Then, the cleaning adapter on the swivel broke... lol
To be honest, I knew the cleaning adapter was slightly cracked, but since the mountain is made of clay, I figured it would hold up.
Then, toward the end, it started to get stiff and finally broke completely.

I had noticed a small crack, so I had a spare to replace it, but,
I can't get the cleaning adapter off the shank rod!

Man, I just can't catch it!
No matter how hard I pound it with a big hammer or a power hammer, it just won't come off.
It's been a while since I've had such a hard time.
I usually remove it while the swivel is still attached, but since it was completely baked on and wouldn’t come off, I used an angle grinder to cut a notch into the cleaning adapter, taking care not to damage the shank rod.
If you make a notch, the cleaning adapter will try to open (as the force is dissipated through the notch), making it more likely to come loose.
However, since you won't be able to use the cleaning adapter, this isn't an option if you want to reuse it.
Since it came off easily, the next step is to replace the swivel gasket.
Actually, I was the only Japanese person there that day. Everyone else was a Vietnamese technical intern, so I ended up working all by myself lol.
I did get a little help, but it was really tough, lol.

We handed them the finished swivel, and the installation was complete.
And so, after successfully completing the last one, we were able to wrap things up.
You really can't let your guard down until the very end, lol.
There was a part of me that thought, “It ends today, so this will be a piece of cake.” I guess I’d developed a strange sense of complacency.
Well, I'm glad no one got hurt or anything like that, but it's important to stay focused until the very end. (A word of caution to myself.)
As long as the technical interns think, “Oh, so that’s how you fix it!”—that’s good enough for me.
It's a daily learning experience.
If you let your guard down, you'll get attacked by the demons on the job site, you know?
If you face it head-on and do your best to deal with it, things will turn out for the best again!
What's important!? It's never running away, no matter what! (The same goes for everything.)
If you run away, you’ll always be chased. If you stand your ground and face the challenge head-on, you’re sure to win.
By the way, it took until 7:00 p.m. that day, and I was completely wiped out (lol).
See you later.
