I'm totally hooked on my current project lol
It's supposed to be a single-pipe drilling job, but this isn't the kind of mountain where you can drill with a single pipe—it can't be done without double-pipe drilling!
Even if I drill a single hole, it crumbles right away.
Since the borehole walls in the natural ground cannot stand on their own after drilling, rebar cannot be inserted.

But in cases like this, it’s really hard to make design changes, isn’t it? (At least if it’s based on an on-site inspection before construction begins.)
Besides, there's nothing we can do if the deadline is looming.
And the worst part is that the first phase of construction was actually carried out that way...
If I had a little more time, I’d like to make some design changes and ensure the work is done properly.
When it comes to this, if someone tells you they were able to drill on the same mountain last time, you can’t help but wonder, “Is that really true?” right?
However, criticizing other companies' workmanship won't change anything, so,
We are experimenting to determine the best construction methods to use, assuming that our company's technical capabilities are limited.

As for the machinery, if we bring in a large suspended-type machine, we might still be able to manage (by digging a wider diameter), but,
After all, it's designed for use with a small core drill on a rope-access scaffold.
The site is quite narrow, so the machinery can't fit in.
For this reason, the drilling is performed using a wire rope to provide counterforce.
The core drill weighs only 65 kg, so it’s super light and much easier to move around than machines from other companies.
However, because it is lighter, it lacks power.
To be honest, I wish it had a little more power...
I bought the core drill this time, but I built the guide cell and hammer bed myself.
For now, I'll use 3D CAD and prioritize weight.
As a result, we were able to build it much lighter than the machines manufactured by the manufacturer.
If the ground at this site had been a bit harder—rock, for example, rather than soil—I think we could have drilled the hole smoothly.
Well, this is the first time I've built a mechanism like this, but it's working out pretty well (in terms of functionality).
This project might be a money-loser, but it looks like we’ll get something out of it anyway! (The development of a new drilling machine!?)
I'm pretty sure everyone would want a small drill like this!
But I haven't given up yet, so I'm coming up with a new plan today—I hope it works out lol.
I approach my work with the determination never to back down from any challenge, so I’m able to carry out the construction work with a calm mind.
To begin with, I’m surprised by the consultant’s decision to use single-hole drilling after assessing this site (soil conditions).
I really wish they'd cut me some slack.
This is a job site where the construction crew faces challenges and, if things go wrong, could easily result in construction defects.

I’m currently working on a similar job site. There are some challenges with the grouting, but even when I think it might be impossible, the feeling when the hole is drilled to the point where it stands on its own is just the best. The joy of seeing rebar installed in a spot where other contractors failed—all thanks to my own skills! It’s a bit self-indulgent, I know… haha.

Let's safely tackle challenging mountains while taking pride in our achievements!
On a previous job site where I was a rebar inserter, we had a major contractor act as a subcontractor, and because the slope was in such poor condition, we changed the design from a single layer to a double layer before construction. However, the work they did looked like a total sham, no matter how you looked at it.
It was such an obvious scam that while it might have fooled a layperson, anyone with experience in ground anchors could spot it right away. Due to the project timeline and a shortage of contractors, we couldn’t switch contractors at this late stage, so we had to let it go as is—but it really showed the ugly side of a major company.
I'm sure Enta knows what "shady" means, lol.
This industry really is like that, isn't it?

The construction method I hate the most is the one where they claim they can do double-pipe drilling even though they can't, lol.
(It might not be impossible, but it seems fishy.)
After all, it’s the job of a professional contractor to figure out how to ensure the work is done properly.
It’s becoming increasingly difficult to make changes due to labor shortages.
