Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.

The bell on the trumpet pipe I was using on site the other day cracked lol
Since they only made the trumpet-shaped part and welded it to the female threaded section of the casing, it’s no surprise it came off.
We really go all out with the bore cleaning, so the internal welds ended up breaking like this lol

Use an angle grinder to carefully grind down the welded area to create a bevel.

That said, the screw side was smaller, and the funnel was loose, so I had to weld it up real good.

I piled it high both inside and out to finish it off.
Since the part was completely loose and I was welding while filling in the gaps, I applied spot welds in several places and built up the weld in stages.
If you don't do that, the bell section will warp in the wrong direction due to the heat. You won't be able to weld continuously in one go.
That's what makes welding so challenging.
This should last me for a while.

This is how I use it.
See you later.
