The Last Community Sports Day of the Year | The Dad from the Slope-Repair Shop Is Exhausted

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Today is the community sports day.

The sports festival spans two weeks... It's the last one of the year!

The dads in Iwakura City are totally wiped out this week!

I'm already so busy with work, and now I have to participate in the sports day, too...

Seriously, it's absolute hell. lol

That said, I don’t actually run or do anything—it seems my job is just to sit there quietly in the guests’ section, but,

There’s kind of an unspoken expectation that I should help out a little with things like making bento boxes for my neighborhood, isn’t there?

You know how sometimes just being around someone can be exhausting? lol

The kids are running, so I'm just cheering them on.

That's about it for today—nothing much happened, lol.

Tomorrow, I'll be heading out to yet another site that feels like a firefight to drive in 4 to 6 rock bolts...

Seriously, I'm scared because it looks like there won't be much work in December! Haha

      Looks like it, lol.
      I wanted to finish it by midday, but I have an inspection this afternoon...
      So, it looks like we won't be able to finish early after all.
      I can't really say much about that—it's all seniors, lol.
