The other day, I went to a metalworking shop.

There, we were manufacturing machine tool frames and other components.

I actually wanted to take all kinds of photos, but that wasn't allowed.

However, I took some photos of things that are okay to photograph.

This is it.

It's a shackle, lol.

Well, it looks pretty ordinary, but the size is incredible.

This is the first time I've seen this size, too.

It might be hard to tell the size just from the photo, so here’s a comparison photo, of course.

It was about 40 cm in diameter.

It's actually pretty heavy!

I hear that this machine shop manufactures workpieces weighing around 40 metric tons.

I hear they also attach flanges to piles and perform other processing work for the civil engineering industry.

I thought metalworking shops were all pretty similar, but metalworking shops that handle heavy loads really are in a league of their own!

Seeing a world you don't know is truly an educational experience.

When I see things like this, I wonder if they could be adapted for use on a slope.

If you're going to take a look, you might as well check out the workspaces of professionals in other industries!

However, since there’s no point in us looking at the food and beverage industry, I’d still recommend related industries, even if they’re in different sectors.
