Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
Are you on a long weekend?
We're hard at work here.
When I have work, I work hard; when I don't, I rest well.
I want to do my best to avoid causing any inconvenience to the general contractor.
But that's beside the point.
Last week, I modified a submersible pump.
Submersible pumps come with a 2-inch outlet fitting, right?

We don't really use this, actually.
That's why we need to rebuild it.
Any method will do, but I'll show you the easiest one.
If you ask the manufacturer, I think they'll make it so it uses screws. (They'll charge a hefty processing fee, though.)
I think it will take about two weeks to complete.
Well, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who says 2 inches is enough.
We prefer 1 inch, so,I'll modify it to 1 inch.
Plus, this modification makes it a little harder to steal! lol

This nozzle is actually made of aluminum.
So, in our case, all of our hoses are 1-inch Cam-Lock hoses.

Just turn it on like this!
All that's left is to weld all the way around.
It's probably hard to steal, right?
It's easy to tell if it's been stolen, and since the outlet has a special cam lock, it's difficult for the average person to use.
People in the same line of work would probably use it, but it’s easy to get caught, isn’t it?
Here's a little tip:Preserve the distinctive features during weldingThat's right.
That way, if it gets stolen, it'll be easier to describe its features to the police, right?
Plus, thieves wouldn't even go to the trouble of modifying this part just to use it, and if they took it and sold it, its value would drop significantly, lol.

I can't weld aluminum, so I'll leave it to the pros. (We do have a machine that can weld aluminum here, but my skills aren't up to par!)

Now it's perfect!
I was able to modify it from 2 inches to 1 inch!
Of course,
Once you cut it, there's no going back!
I've added a little something to this finished outlet, so if it's stolen and then found, you'll know right away.
I highly recommend this to everyone! All you have to do is use welding to add some distinctive features.
If you're unsure about welding, please feel free to consult Wakazono Manufacturing.
