Aggressive Driving and Continuous Use of the Passing Lane | High-Beam Signals

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Road rage has become a problem recently.

This is aggressive driving

I don't think there's anything wrong with the example, but I do have one question about it.

I guess cutting someone off isn't allowed, but isn't using high beams okay?

The reason is that,

There's this super-slow car that just keeps driving in the passing lane for a loooong time!?

It’s a little hard to accept that using your high beams or turn signals to signal this would be considered aggressive driving, isn’t it?

If you're driving in the passing lane for a loooooong time, assume you're being tailgated, and

People who want to pass are thinking, “Don’t you even know how to drive on the highway? Just move out of the way with your high beams on!”

I'm sure.

What's more, slow drivers probably think, "I'm driving at the speed limit, so there's no problem!"

That's not wrong, but under normal circumstances, you're supposed to drive in the driving lane.

Use the passing lane only when passingThat's right. This is how you normally drive on the highway.

Especially around the end of the month or during long holidays, people who rarely drive get into accidents on the highway or drive in the passing lane the whole way,

From our perspective as working people...

That’s what I think, but I try to keep my emotions in check, so I’ll probably be fine lol

But isn't there some kind of system to warn drivers who keep driving in the passing lane??

For example, it would be nice if there were a feature like flashing with different-colored lights...

Continuing to drive in the passing lane violates Article 20 of the Road Traffic Act,
This constitutes a "lane violation" and is subject to enforcement.

The fine is 6,000 yen (for passenger cars and motorcycles), and 1 point will be deducted from your license.

If you continue driving in the passing lane for 2 km or more,
It appears this will be subject to enforcement.
