We're back to work on the 17th, too.
I don't really like taking long vacations, so I find myself wanting to get back to work as soon as possible.
Well, actually, I'm always working, lol.
Even on my days off, I spend a few hours drawing blueprints, doing cost estimates, preparing quotes, and working on development.
That way, I don't have to completely switch off, so it feels more comfortable.
If I completely switch off, I just don't feel like working anymore. That's because I...I'm incredibly lazy.
That's why, to make sure that doesn't happen, you have to be ready to spring into action anytime, anywhere.
So I'm always "on"!! lol
That’s also part of the reason why I keep writing my blog, whether it’s a day off or a holiday.
I’ve decided to write this, so I’ll just write it—but since I can’t write lies, I’ll point out the differences between the actual workplace and what’s written in books and other sources, such as...
I make a point of finding and writing them down. If there are any discrepancies, I always check the source material, which serves as both a personal reference and a way to review the material.
I do that to make sure I don't turn it off lol
For example, I usually bring my laptop with me so that I can respond immediately if something unexpected comes up while I'm on vacation.
I'm the type of person who, once I'm completely "off," takes a while to get back up and running, so it takes me a few days.
In the end, I end up dragging my feet and putting off things I really have to do.
When you're a hopeless case like me, you have to force yourself to do something or else you're doomed.
I think it's okay for everyone to have their flaws, but whether or not you're aware of them makes a big difference in the outcome.
I, too, make a conscious effort to cultivate my subconscious mind and value it highly.
And I believe that we should try to improve those negative aspects, even if only little by little, so,
It's the perfect environment for me right now.
If you all just take a little time starting today to get ready for work and plan things out, you’ll find yourself suddenly in the zone!
It’s only when you actually do it that you get motivated—if you don’t, you’ll never get motivated, no matter how long you wait, right?
