Actually, I don't really like crowds!
But, you know what!
I keep running into festivals this year!
For various reasons, the other day I attended one of the Three Great Festivals of Tohoku—an event that’s practically synonymous with Akita.
Let's go to the Kanto Festival!
That was amazing!
As a Japanese person, I was deeply moved!
I used to avoid festivals simply because I hated crowds.
It just so happened that the venue was right in front of my hotel, and when I happened to glance over, I was totally moved!
Everyone from elementary and middle school students to office workers and even grandpas came together to enjoy the festival!
I found myself thinking, “Why haven’t I seen something this amazing before?”
It was truly a wonderful festival.
Just for that reason alone—feeling that I had to let the kids experience the festival—we went to the Nobi Grand Fireworks Festival, which was being held nearby!
Well, it's not quite a festival, but it's a classic summer tradition, isn't it?
And this was amazing, too!
I had the opportunity to see the fine craftsmanship of a fireworks artisan.
I was so moved!!
There's really nothing like the real thing!! As with everything, you can't truly experience that authentic sense of presence unless you're actually there!
This is important! Watch artisans at work right before your eyes!
It’s exactly the same with our craftsmen’s work; when teaching the younger ones on the job, it’s important to demonstrate skilled craftsmanship right in front of them.
When I see something great (great work), I feel like imitating it.
It's the same with the job of a site supervisor—when you see well-prepared documents, you just want to copy them.
There’s a supervisor at a local general contractor who creates documents that are incredibly neat and easy to understand.
I really have no words other than to say that person is amazing.
I have people make copies of those documents for me, or I take photos of them and save them.
I definitely want to follow their example and get even higher scores on the test!
It's just my personal opinion, but I believe that if you can't even imitate something, you can't create anything original.
If there were no intellectual property or anything like that, people would just keep copying and improving things over and over,
The more you make it your own, the better it will get.
It's getting better and better and better!
Isn’t it also part of our job right now to train skilled craftsmen who can do excellent work and pass that legacy on to the next generation of slope engineers and anchor installers?

It was easy to understand, and when I was present during the inspection, the inspector also praised it highly.
Plus, it's so perfectly crafted that it's incredibly reliable.
So I just end up copying them all the time, lol.
Especially when the documents have a narrative flow to them, the review process goes smoothly.
