Here's the mini suspended core drill I made the other day lol
The winch is attached to the back of the rock drill.
This is a winch designed specifically for towing from behind.

There's a rag on top of the rock drill—it's a noise-reduction device, lol (just for peace of mind).
In the end, I shortened the part that was to be lifted by the crane because it was too long.
That actually made the work go more smoothly.
This time, we were using self-drilling rock bolts (drill hole diameter: φ65 × 3.8 m), and since the rock mass was very loose, we were able to drill the holes using only the weight of the rock drill.
Normally, when using a rock drill for self-drilling, manual drilling is absolute hell.
However, with this mini model, the winch handles the lifting, so it doesn't require any effort.
Pulling is harder than pushing, so it was really convenient.
Since we originally used 1.8-meter permanent drainage reinforcement pipes, it is possible to install 2-meter rods from the start.
However, on the other hand, since it’s this small, I think it could be made even smaller so that it would work well with a 1-meter rod.

In reality, drilling a 1-meter hole is a pain, though lol (having to extend the rods).
I made something like this on a trial basis, and since I found it to be quite useful, I think it would be worth creating a full-fledged version that’s properly lightweight.
And the most expensive items among these are the winch and the winch box, lol.
Other than that, I'm just using single-wall pipes for now, without worrying about strength.
By the way, the weight is
Rock Drill: 15 kg
Winch: 12 kg
Winch box: approx. 5 kg
Rock Drill Mounting Base: Approx. 10 kg
Single pipe: 2.6 m + 2.6 m + 3 m + 3 m + 0.4 m + 0.4 m = 12 m
12 m × 2.7 kg = 32.4 kg
Other components: 5 kg
Total: 79.4 kg ≓ 80 kg
It weighed about this much.
These steel pipes are heavier than I thought, lol.

That said, if rebar needs to be inserted on a small lot, this weight should be more than sufficient.
I think we'll be able to drill the holes quickly enough even if we set up a simple scaffold.
I had also considered using it in case the surface was hard and I wanted to push forward with force, but I didn't end up using it this time.
It looks like it could be fun if I can put more effort into creating it in the future.
