This one broke down on site the other day.
This is a drill I’ve been using for about two years to install hole-in-anchors.

This was incredibly convenient and easy to use, so it really came in handy on the job!
It stopped working on site, and when I sent it in for repair, they told me the motor had burned out and it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.
While I was chatting with the staff at the store where I bought it, they told me that power tools tend to break easily this time of year!
That's because if you use power tools on days when the temperature is 35 degrees or higher and put too much strain on them, they can overheat!!
It seems that the original battery itself has a feature that shuts it down when the temperature rises, but,
Apparently, the electric motor itself doesn't have that feature, so even if the main unit is under load and gets hot, it won't stop until it burns out.
They said that, especially with this heat, the baking time might be significantly shorter!!
Even if you're just going about your normal work, the daytime temperatures make it easier to get sunburned...
Well, I guess there's nothing we can do about it, so we'll just have to use it in a way that minimizes the strain as much as possible.
Like, make sure to use the sharpest blade possible, or don't press too hard, lol
I guess the heat affects places like this, too.
We really need to be careful about overheating, especially with small machines.
